The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of receivables, contribute to process improvements, and play an important role in supporting efficient credit control operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor an assigned portfolio of customer accounts.
  • Ensure receivables remain within approved credit limits.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Process account postings and allocations accurately and on time.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to maintain up-to-date records.
  • Handle discussions with overdue debtors and support escalation procedures where necessary.
  • Ensure credit control procedures are followed and maintained.
  • Resolve customer and internal queries efficiently and professionally.
  • Support continuous improvement of credit control processes and practices.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within credit control, collections, or accounts receivable.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Good problem-solving and organisational abilities.
  • ICT literate with good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Confidence in handling challenging conversations professionally.
  • O-Level standard of education is preferred.
  • Leadership skills and a proactive mindset will be considered an asset.
