MEP Draughting & Design Officer

On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking a skilled MEP Draughting & Design Officer to prepare accurate technical drawings and documentation for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects. This role offers the opportunity to work across all MEP disciplines, supporting projects from design and tender stage through to construction and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce MEP drawings, layouts, schematics, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and Revit
• Prepare and update shop drawings and as-built drawings
• Support engineers with design development and technical coordination
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural drawings
• Conduct site visits to verify installations and gather project information
• Respond to technical queries and revise drawings as required
• Manage drawing revisions, documentation, and drawing registers
• Assist with maintaining drawing standards and BIM resources

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree (MQF Level 4 or above) in Building Services, Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years' experience producing MEP drawings within construction or building services
• Strong AutoCAD skills
• Good understanding of electrical, plumbing, drainage, and HVAC systems
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines
• Excellent English communication skills
• Valid driving licence and willingness to attend site visits

Preferred

• Experience with Revit MEP, BIM coordination, or Navisworks
• Experience preparing shop drawings and as-built documentation
• Knowledge of BS 7671 and local regulations
• Familiarity with energy-efficient building systems
• Maltese language skills
