Accountant
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities :
- Overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable for a real estate company
- Reviewing financial records to reconcile business accounts
- Facilitating property purchases and sales by printing and distributing checks
- Communicating with vendors to ensure they pay bills on time
- Using computer software to record and organize financial data, like customer invoices
- Managing or leasing property to tenants
- Keeping track of income statements and expenses using journal entries
Key Skill :
- A Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance with relevant experience with same field.
- Experience in a similar accounting position a plus.
- Knowledge of Great Plains accounting computer system a plus.
- Accounting experience of 6 months to 2 years of experience, which can include internship, summer work or recent work with accounting
- Self-motivated, and effective working independently part of a large team
