Accountant

 Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable for a real estate company
  • Reviewing financial records to reconcile business accounts
  • Facilitating property purchases and sales by printing and distributing checks
  • Communicating with vendors to ensure they pay bills on time
  • Using computer software to record and organize financial data, like customer invoices
  • Managing or leasing property to tenants
  • Keeping track of income statements and expenses using journal entries

Key Skill : 

  • A Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance with relevant experience with same field.
  • Experience in a similar accounting position a plus.
  • Knowledge of Great Plains accounting computer system a plus.
  • Accounting experience of 6 months to 2 years of experience, which can include internship, summer work or recent work with accounting
  • Self-motivated, and effective working independently part of a large team
