We are in an active growth phase in the automotive market and are looking for someone who wants to build something significant with us with the freedom to act and direct visibility to leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and activate new business opportunities through active prospecting, industry networking and strategic contact management
- Manage key accounts with regular visits to Tier 1 clients, relationship follow-up and detection of emerging needs
- Maintain a rigorous pipeline: track every opportunity, prioritise actions and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
- Lead the development of technical and commercial proposals with internal support, manage negotiations and close contracts
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Must-have
- 5/7+ years in business development roles in the automotive sector
- Direct experience with OEMs and/or Tier 1 suppliers — you know how they work from the inside
- A real and active network in the industry: buyers, engineering, management
- Fluent English (C1 or above). German or French is a strong plus
- Full autonomy — you know what needs to be done without being told
- Sufficient technical background to hold your own in conversations with engineering profiles
- Availability to travel 30–40% of the time
Nice to have
- Experience in international markets: Germany, France, Eastern Europe
- Track record of building business from scratch in new accounts or markets
- Knowledge of industry standards: IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP
- German or French as a third language
