Role overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Head of Product Management to join our innovative team at a rapidly growing seed-stage company. Reporting directly to the Head of Product, you will play a key role in building category-defining products & features. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire product delivery process from conception to making the feature successful.

Responsibilities

Feature Conception:

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer's pain points and challenges
  • Identify the best solutions to address these challenges.
  • Own the conceptualization and definition of solutions, translating them into detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).
  • Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration between product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to refine and validate PRDs.

Product Delivery:

  • Convert the product objectives for the next 2 quarters into a comprehensive roadmap with an implementation plan ready for execution.
  • Own and coordinate the end-to-end feature delivery process.
  • Execute the roadmap at the highest velocity and maximize exceptional quality.
  • Act as point of contact for feature delivery questions toward internal stakeholders, customer success team, customer support team & customers.

Feature Success:

  • Take responsibility for achieving success metrics for all launched features and product enhancements.
  • Implement iterative improvements based on data-driven insights and user feedback.

Requirements:

General requirements:

  • Excellent communication in English (both written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Strong independent project ownership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities to align stakeholders and convey critical information quickly & effectively.
  • Exceptional skills in converting high-level ideas into detailed, implementation-ready specifications.
  • Experience working in B2B and/or SaaS Product Management.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with a proactive and results-driven working style.
  • Demonstrated data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and product development best practices.

Nice to have:

  • Experience leading Product Managers in a Product-based software company
  • Experience working in software engineering.
  • Experience with B2B pre-sales.
  • Experience working with Product Analytics tools (e.g. Mixpanel, Metabase, Looker etc.)
