Position Overview:
As the Finance Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of financial operations, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the company's strategic growth. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this position requires a hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You will oversee key financial processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the company's success by delivering operational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to manage and improve financial practices in a multinational organization, combining a strategic mindset with a commitment to precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Operations
- Review and verify contracts created or requested by the Business Operations Executive (BOE) and Customer Success (CS) teams.
- Prepare and manage essential documents such as NDAs, Certificates of Registration (COR), and other related materials.
- Collaborate with the Customer Success and Business Operations teams to streamline daily operations.
- Prepare quotations and invoices.
- Monitor the status of quotations and invoices, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Notify the Customer Success team to contact customers for overdue collections.
- Track incoming payments and prepare received vouchers, tax invoices, and customer receipts.
2. Payment Management
- Record accounts payable and schedule payments in the bank system based on due dates.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Review and validate employee reimbursement claims, checking for reasonableness and completeness of supporting documents.
- Issue withholding tax certificates for vendor payments.
3. General Finance Support
- Prepare journal entries and close a full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Maintain an organized filing system for all financial and corporate documents (e.g., contracts, NDAs, invoices, receipts, tax submissions, and bank statements).
- Provide necessary documentation for audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Assist the Head of Finance in financial reporting and analysis.
- Handle other finance-related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance operations or a similar role, preferably within tech or SaaS organizations.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Thai accounting practices and tax regulations.
- Proficiency with payment platforms (e.g., Stripe) and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks, Peak)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of BOI (Board of Investment) incentives and regulations is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Certifications:
- Must hold a valid CPD License.
Other Requirements:
- Must be a Thai national.
