Support Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications by designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated tests. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to deliver high-quality software that meets customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain test documentation and testing reports.
• Contribute to test automation where applicable.
• Continuously improve QA processes and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Experience testing web applications.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and API testing.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Experience testing cloud-based applications.
