Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create 2D and 3D structural drawings and models for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

  • Work independently to meet planned goals and deadlines within allocated timeframes.

  • Collaborate with the team during weekly or fortnightly check-ins to review progress and workload distribution.

  • Prepare structural plans for a variety of clients, ranging from homeowners to corporate and government organizations.

  • Produce drawings for small-scale projects within short turnaround times (e.g., two weeks).

  • Contribute to long-term, large-scale projects requiring detailed structural plans over extended timelines.

Required Experience

  • Background in structural drafting or related design work.

  • Experience handling multiple project types and varying project scales.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Relevant technical or engineering drafting certification or equivalent experience.

  • Strong understanding of structural concepts and drawing standards.

A Successful Candidate Must Have

  • Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Proficient With

  • 2D and 3D drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).

  • Structural drawing and modeling tools.

Experience Advantage

  • Experience working with Australian building codes or local Riverina region projects.

  • Experience coordinating with corporate or government clients.
