Why this role exists

OWC is committed to delivering accurate, enriched, and well-structured product content across all digital and retail channels. This role will be the go-to owner for day-to-day management, enhancement, and syndication of product data through our PIM system.

Key Responsibilities

Daily platform ownership: Maintain the PIM system's structure, fields, taxonomies, and user permissions
Content readiness: Ensure product data is enriched, validated, and approved before go-live across key sales channels
Syndication execution: Manage exports and syndication templates to channels like Shopify, marketplaces, and retail feeds
Data integrity: Apply business rules, QA standards, and completeness scoring to uphold data quality
Workflows: Support marketing, product, creative, and channel teams with enrichment workflows and technical support
Light integrations coordination: Work with IT to ensure data flows smoothly between PIM, ERP, Shopify, DAM, and retail feeds
Reporting: Track content completeness, publish success, and enrichment KPIs
Vendor & licensing support: Assist in managing PIM vendor relationships and renewals
Documentation & training: Create internal training materials and maintain platform documentation

Qualifications

2-5+ years of experience in PIM, product content management, or digital merchandising
Hands-on experience with any PIM system; Salsify or Akeneo experience a plus
Solid grasp of product taxonomy, attributes, and enrichment workflows
Experience working with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, etc.)
Strong understanding of content syndication and retail feed management
Strong attention to detail, process orientation, and data accuracy
Bonus: familiarity with Dynamics 365, Icecat/CNET content, or DAM platforms
