Job Description: 

• The Precast Detail Drafter will be responsible for producing detailed and accurate drawings for precast concrete elements. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, a strong understanding of architectural and structural drawings, and the ability to produce clear, comprehensive precast drawings. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring all drawings meet the highest standards of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize AutoCAD to create 2D drawings for precast concrete projects.
• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, ensuring a thorough understanding of design requirements.
• Develop detailed precast drawings, including:
• Marking plans and layouts
• Elevations
• Dowel and bracing plans
• Connection details
• Precast element shop drawings
• Ensure all drawings are clear, precise, and easy to understand for manufacturing and construction purposes.
• Pay close attention to detail to ensure that all drawings are accurate and meet company standards.
• Perform self-checks and quality control reviews on all completed drawings.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, project managers, and other team members to resolve drawing-related issues.
• Provide efficient and practical solutions to design and detailing challenges.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, with a strong focus on 2D drafting.
• Experience in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings, particularly for high-rise buildings.
• Familiarity with precast concrete design and detailing is highly desirable.
• High attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
