Logistics Coordinator
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve shipping issues.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping documentation including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.
  • Track shipments and provide status updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with international, federal, and local shipping regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records in logistics systems (e.g., ERP, TMS).
  • Assist in inventory management and warehouse coordination as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and supply chain processes.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination.
  • Experience with shipping procedures, freight terms, and documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency in logistics software such as SAP, Oracle, or TMS platforms.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient With
  • ERP, SAP, Oracle, TMS systems.
  • Shipping documentation and logistics reporting tools.
Experience Advantage
  • Experience with international shipping and customs regulations.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and freight forwarding.
  • Familiarity with KPI tracking and reporting.
