About the job Estimating Admin Assistant

Primary Responsibilities:

  •  General administrative duties including but not limited to client folder setup and quotations

  • Co-ordination of inbox, tender enquiries, tender drawing downloads & revisions.

  • Document control.

  • Data entry into ERP system StruMIS (Entering quotes for client tenders, import Philippine take offs into strumis estimates, prepare data & documents to send out for external pricing e.g. Purlin & rigging pricing

  • Prepare fortnightly and monthly estimating reports. Request feedback from customers (upon request)

  • Liaising with external suppliers and requesting quotes (purlin & rigging etc.)

  • Support Project Managers and Senior Managers with administrative tasks:
    • Job Job Sheets 

    • Form 12s 

  • Prepare Introduction Letters for new projects 

  • Prepare estimating take-offs in Blue Beam/ manually and import into StruMIS

  • Prepare Estimate subsection extras

  • Update/amend quote planner when required

  • Creating links for Trimble models  

  • EOM reporting

  • Prepare fortnightly follow up possibilities list for team

Skills and Experience:

  • Data entry skills.

  • Hands-on experience with MS Office.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing deadlines. 

  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

  •  Experience with Office 365 (Excel, word , ect)

  • Interest working in the construction industry.

  • Deal and always develop relationships with employees professionally. 

  • Further develop StruMis skills to a high level of competency to complete primary responsibilities. 

  • Further develop Bluebeam skills to a high level of competency to complete primary responsibilities.

  • Complete key skills and tasks of a Cadet Estimator competently.
