Roles and Responsibilities

  • Process on-hired employee payroll accurately and on time across recruitment divisions
  • Compile, review, and process employee timesheets and payroll data
  • Calculate statutory deductions including PAYG, superannuation, and other applicable contributions
  • Set up and manage electronic payroll transfers with banking institutions
  • Prepare, issue, and distribute employee payslips and earnings statements
  • Generate and issue client tax invoices for on-hired workers
  • Review payroll records to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Process new employee details and maintain accurate payroll records
  • Issue payroll adjustments for corrections, back pay, or retroactive changes
  • Reconcile payroll reports with bank statements and prepare period-end reports
  • Provide timely payroll and billing support to consultants, branch offices, clients, and candidates
  • Maintain accurate databases and ensure compliance with internal procedures
  • Stay updated on payroll, tax, and deduction legislation
  • Support recruitment consultants with payroll and administrative requirements
  • Adhere to company policies, code of conduct, and OH&S standards
  • Perform reception and other administrative duties as required

Required Experience

  • Experience in payroll processing, preferably within recruitment or labour hire
  • Experience managing payroll for multiple employees or clients
  • Exposure to payroll reconciliation and invoicing

Minimum Qualifications

  • Qualification in Payroll, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and statutory obligations
