As we continue to expand, we seek a visionary Senior Creative Strategist specialising in video production to enhance our brand's presence in the direct-to-consumer and direct-response markets.
Role Overview:
The Senior Creative Strategist will be crucial in shaping Malaberg's future by leading our video content strategy. This position involves crafting compelling, high-performance video content that engages and captivates audiences, drives conversions, and strengthens brand loyalty.
-Develop and oversee end-to-end video content strategy for DTC and DR campaigns, including digital ads and social media.
-Stay ahead of video marketing trends, platform-specific best practices, and emerging technologies to create cutting-edge and audience-relevant content.
-Collaborate closely with the copy, production and marketing teams to align creative output with strategic goals.
-Create compelling, data-informed video concepts that clearly focus on audience engagement, conversion optimization, and measurable ROI.
-Experiment with formats, storytelling techniques, and visual styles to differentiate the brand while maintaining consistency across platforms.
-Ability to oversee and direct both lightweight social shoots and larger branded ones.
-Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver high-quality video content that meets deadlines and exceeds expectations.
Requirements:
-Proven Leadership: Extensive experience in leading creative video campaigns and video strategies, specifically in the DTC or DR industries.
-Expertise in Video Production: Comprehensive knowledge of the video production process, from initial planning to post-production, with a particular emphasis on editing and optimization for different platforms.
-Innovative Mindset: A track record of technological proficiency and innovation, comfortable using a variety of cameras and production equipment.
-Deep Understanding of Audience Engagement: Advanced knowledge of storytelling techniques and audience psychology across major social platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
-Based in the US (East Coast preferred), with openness to occasional travel for photoshoots
-Interest in or familiarity with using AI tools for content creation, ideation, or creative workflows
