Job Summary:

The Senior IT Specialist will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting a wide range of IT-related issues. This role requires extensive experience with networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting, as well as a deep understanding of Windows Server, CCNA, Firewall, and Microsoft Azure Administration. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with Microtech and Microwave technology (specifically Unify), and proficiency in VoIP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, and maintain the organizations IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and cloud platforms.
    • Oversee system upgrades, software patches, and hardware replacements.
    • Diagnose and resolve complex networking, Windows, and cable-related issues.
    • Provide hands-on support for hardware-related problems.
    • Maintain accurate records of IT incidents and solutions, generating reports on system performance and issues.
    • Design, implement, and maintain the organizations IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and cloud platforms.
    • Oversee system upgrades, software patches, and hardware replacements.
    • Manage Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services.
    • Administer and configure firewalls to ensure network security.
    • Oversee and manage Microsoft Azure Administration tasks.
    • Administer cloud environments such as Google Workspace, or Azure DevOps.
    • Optimize virtual environments, including Proxmox and VMware setups.
    • Install, configure, and maintain VoIP platforms (e.g., Yeastar PBX, VitalPBX).
    • Design and implement IVR systems, call routing, and SIP trunk configurations.
    • Troubleshoot VoIP-related issues (call quality, connectivity, integration) and ensure seamless telephone operations.
    • Implement and manage microwave technology solutions, particularly Unify systems.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot any connectivity or performance issues specific to microwave links.
    • Lead IT projects from initiation to completion, including budgeting and vendor coordination.
    • Propose and implement new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect systems and data.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 3 years of experience in IT roles, with significant focus on systems administration, networking, and troubleshooting.
    • Hands-on experience with hardware and complex network environments (CCNA-level tasks).
    • Deep understanding of Windows Server, firewall configurations, and Microsoft Azure Administration.
    • Proficient in pfSense, MikroTik, Sophos, or Cisco networking equipment.
    • Familiarity with microwave technology (Unify).
    • Experience managing VoIP systems, including telephony configurations and integrations.
    • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and help desk systems (e.g., Zammad) is advantageous.
    • ERP Systems familiarity is a plus.
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
