Reports to: Director of Recovery Community Development Division
Employee Type: Exempt/Full Time 35 hours/week
Salary range: $55,000 to $60,000
Location: Union County, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Amount of travel and any other special conditions or requirements: Must possess a valid driver's license and method of transportation. The position requires regionalized travel. All travel mileage will be reimbursed. Evening and Weekend Availability: Must be available evenings and weekends Hours per day or week: 35 hours per week.
Description of duties and responsibilities:
- Program and participant coordination
- Immediately reports any concerns to the Division Director
- Coordinate and assist in the implementation of all programming
- Coordinate community linkages and partnerships
- Facilitate connection between regional treatment organizations and staff
- Building and fostering partnerships with statewide recovery community organizations
- Supports volunteer recruitment, training, supervision, retention and coordination
- Provide Division Director with relevant data and reports for program evaluation
- Regularly updates program schedule and offerings, informing participants of any changes
- Community outreach
- Assists in the coordination and implementation of organizational meetings, training/technical assistance and events
- Assists in the coordination and implementation of community outreach events
- Facilitates outreach about services to regional treatment providers and stakeholders
- Develops a regional recovery community resource map
Qualifications for the position:
- Bachelor's Degree in social work, human services, or a related field
- At least two (2) years experience in providing services to individuals with SUD
- NJ-certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) preferred
Skills, knowledge, and Personal Qualities required: Must possess the skills, knowledge, and personal qualities required to fulfill the responsibilities listed above. Bilingual preferred. Strong writing and computer skills are required.
