About the job RESTAURANT MANAGER
- Manage daily operations of all outlets, organizing and implementing to ensure smooth activities.
- Inspect and supervise the activities of all outlets before opening to promptly address any issues, ensuring the highest service quality.
- Assign and arrange weekly work schedules for staff, allocate personnel according to work requirements and daily schedules, ensuring sufficient manpower as needed.
- Review, assign, and arrange work schedules for subordinates (behavior, hygiene, uniforms) according to established standards to ensure optimal job performance, and ensure clear and proper shift handovers and work logs.
- Maintain and ensure the quality of service, food safety and hygiene, and security in the kitchen department.
- Handle customer complaints at the outlets.
- Coordinate with the Executive Chef and subordinate managers to develop menus, criteria, standards, and solutions to implement promotional and marketing programs for the food and beverage department.
- Collaborate with the Chief Accountant to prepare the departments annual budget and manage expenses.
- Inform and assess staff knowledge of the menu, beverages, and upcoming restaurant events.
- Continuously train, orient, and motivate the development of outlet managers and supervisors.
- Manage the use and maintenance of equipment, tools, and machinery in the food and beverage department, ensuring all operations are efficient and suited to the departments functions. Prevent damage, breakage, and loss, and take responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories.
- Save and control costs (including operational and labor costs), and update knowledge and techniques to apply and enhance service quality.
- Perform other tasks as required by superiors.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position at hotels or restaurants.
- Strong planning ability with strategic vision.
- Leadership, communication, presentation, planning, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and risk management skills.
- Ability to predict and understand market trends.
- Proficient in English.
