Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations in food distribution and management, with a proven track record of leading a team to success. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products

- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to improve productivity and reduce costs

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate records are maintained

- Train and supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers

- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity

- Handle and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise in the warehouse

- Prepare and present reports on warehouse operations to management

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Forklift certification is a plus

Working Conditions:

The Warehouse Supervisor will work full time, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend and evening shifts as needed. The role will be based in our warehouse facility and may require some physical activity, such as lifting and moving heavy objects. The candidate must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and able to adhere to all safety protocols.
