About the job Business Analyst
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with experience within data/reporting to join our project team, which focuses on driving key transformation initiatives.
The primary responsibility of this role will be to contribute to projects incorporating both technical and functional enhancements.
The Business Analyst will initially focus on two critical domains: data and reporting, ensuring that all related processes and functionalities are seamlessly reflected into the new data model.
The project already started for which support is needed in order to analyze business requirements, support the functional design, change documentation, help set up testing and test.
This role requires strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Key activities:
Analyze data and reporting needs in the Settle 2.0, gather requirements, and translate business needs into clear functional specifications.
Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business processes, functional designs, and system requirements
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and project managers to align on deliverables and ensure seamless integration with impacted Settle 2.0 components and integrated systems.
Workshops & Optimization: Lead and facilitate workshops to gather input, validate solutions, and identify opportunities for process optimization and functional improvements.
As analyst in this project, you will be responsible for defining and analyzing data and reporting requirements, ensuring effective reporting strategies, and delivering insights from data. You will need to work closely with various stakeholders, including developers, business users, and other teams, to ensure the system and data model align with business needs.
During the testing phase, you will support the test content definition that must be integrated in the global project test strategy, and as well the validation of the data and reporting implementations.
Context
Atrias plays a central role in facilitating the energy market in Belgium, ensuring seamless interactions between Distribution Grid Operators (DGOs) and market parties.
In addition to this, Atrias manages and provides services for critical applications, including the Central Market System (CMS), DEX, and PPP.
Within Atrias, the Transformation Department is tasked with driving strategic change and overseeing transformation projects.
The current CMS application is a core component of the energy market, serving as the primary system that facilitates market processes and enables communication between DGOs and market parties. However, the CMS requires modernization to align with evolving market needs and technological advancements.
The Transformation Department will lead the modernization effort, acting as the driving force behind the development and implementation of new applications.
This work will be carried out using Agile methodologies, with a strong focus on incorporating functional changes driven by input from DGOs.
In this conext, the project is about the implementation of a new system (standalone, outside CMS systems) for Settlement domain, which requires the build of a new data model. This data model is defined following the new Settlement processes and business requirements for reporting.
The project has a Data track that groups 3 activities:
- Alerting/Monitoring: monitoring of the system
- Quality control reports: operational results validation
- Cross domain reports: reporting using multiple data sources
For the project, it is requested to define data and reporting needs.
This request a very good understanding of the architecture decided in the project, the data model, the functionalities and processes of the new systems than can lead to data output.

Atrias provides the possibility of teleworking.
For this specific assignment, a minimum of 1 day of physical presence is required in the Atrias offices. The exact day(s) are to be agreed with the Transformation team (Senior Business Coordinators).
The right to telework is not enforceable and its frequency will always be determined in consultation with the team leader.
