About the job Demand Planner
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing the flow of goods, information and other resources between the point of origin and clients and ensuring efficient administration of storing and distribution of the wide range of goods and items according to company policy.
The Employees must be active on various social media platforms and demonstrate a strong online presence to effectively engage with our clients and customers by showcasing our brand success stories and related content.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to develop effective monthly forecast models based on set criteria.
a) KSA and Qatar safety stock=2 months
b) Oman and Bahrain safety stock=1.5 months
c) UAE safety stock=1 month
d) Central warehouse safety stock=2.5 months + lead time from supplier - Managing purchase orders up until arrival in destination country
a)100% accuracy of unit item price and gross order value placed by supplier in purchase order
and final supplier invoice
b) Monitoring supplier fulfillment ratio (quantity placed vs quantity fulfilled)
c) Ensure shipping factor does not exceed 15% for shipments from suppliers
d) Obtaining commercial signature on final shipping documents no later than 7 days from the
receipt of the shipment in the central warehouse. - Maintain accurate RP and ERP data:
a) Mark discontinued items from supplier or by MADI as class D and DISCONTINUED in Oracle
b) Apply supersession for discontinued items from the supplier having a replacement
c) Updating RP files with newly launched SKUs in line with supplier order form and grouped by sub
brand. - Stock Management:
a) Carrying out a minimum of 15 SKU Rotations per Month per brand as per the Monthly
Replenishment Calendar.
b) highlighting to brand management the excess stock by subsidiary by brand including central
warehouse stock.
KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelors degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years relevant work experience in inventory or production planning is helpful, as is marketing or economic knowledge.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft excels and using formulas and ERP system
- Good knowledge of Demand forecasting and planning.
- Good knowledge of freight forwarding and negotiations.
- Good Knowledge of Cargo type whether its hazardous or non-hazardous.
