Job description
We are looking for a Corporate Demand Planning Officer who is responsible for ensuring optimal stock availability across all Madi International warehouses and markets, balancing demand and supply to avoid overstock or stock-out situations. This role requires close collaboration with suppliers, regional teams, and logistics partners to ensure efficient and timely product availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for assigned product lines based on historical data, sales trends, promotions, and market intelligence.
- Monitor and control stock levels in the CWH and country warehouses to ensure smooth replenishment across all regions.
- Coordinate with suppliers worldwide to place and follow up on purchase orders, ensuring timely shipment and delivery.
- Track shipments, liaise with freight forwarders, and proactively address any delays or supply chain disruptions.
- Align with sales & marketing teams on forecast accuracy, promotional plans, and product launches.
- Prepare regular reports on demand accuracy, inventory health, and service levels.
- Analyze slow-moving and obsolete stock across countries for necessary action.
- Maintain accurate system data by updating discontinued items, applying replacements, and adding newly launched SKUs as per supplier updates.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across functions and regions.
