Assistant Manager

MacGregor Recruitment are recruiting for an Deputy / Assistant Manager with strong window and door knowledge to join a brand new trade counter recently opening in Winsford!

My client are an independent supplier of windows, doors, bi-folds and building plastics to trade who are performing strongly and expanding. They are offering a great package commesurate with experience!

Assistant Manager role:

• Working closely with the Branch Manager and as part of a small team you will build relationships with your customers, answer queries and deliver a great customer service
• You will lead with the processing of quotations and orders of upvc and aluminium windows, doors, bi-folds and skylights
• A hands on role you will help serve on the trade counter, scheduling deliveries / collections, and helping with the goods in/out
• Deputising for the Branch Manager - opening and closing the branch, running the shift, cashing up and reporting the figures. Training provided

Assistant Manager Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of windows and doors is essential, with order processing experience
• Experience gained within a trade supply or trade counter branch is an advantage
• A hands on approach to help out with the branch operations
• Great people skills - able to build good relationships with your trade customers
• A valid driving licence

The Package:

• Basic £24-30k DOE
• 07.30-16.30 Monday to Friday plus Sat AM on a 3 week rota
• Branch bonus scheme
