As we continue to expand our service reach throughout the Northeast, we are seeking energetic and responsible team members to join the company to help take our clients worry away when disaster strikes. MacFawn Fire & Flood Restoration is currently interviewing for the Office Assistant opportunity to help service our customers. The Office Assistant will work in our Main Office primarily performing administrative duties assigned by the Management Team. This opportunity is based out of the Albany, NY office.

Part Time: 20-30 hours per week M-F, with the potential to become a full time position

Compensation: $17- $19/ hr

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls to appropriate departments

  • Updating and organizing documents in Companys electronic and physical filing system

  • Maintaining a clean and organized office space

  • Taking inventory, purchasing and stocking office/ break room supplies

  • Assisting the Administrative Manager as needed with tasks

  • Maintaining and logging Company Purchase Requests

  • Collecting and processing mail

  • Possible invoicing and estimating

  • Assisting the sales department with tasks such as purchasing marketing material and keeping stock of purchases

  • Assist with the organization of company events and meetings

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the efficient functioning of the office.

  • Assisting with content creation and social media scheduling


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Proven experience working in office type setting

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

  • Valid Drivers License

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Team player
