Job Description:
Service Management is an owner of ITSO contracts with key Infrastructure Service Providers and Application Suppliers. They ensure that services provided by third parties are secure and reliable while exercising contractual clauses to ensure key KPIs (e.g. Critical Service Levels, Key Measures) are upheld. The Service Manager acts as the escalation point between Business IT and 3rd party provided for any deterioration in service levels. Further, with the advent of cloud-based infrastructure services, service managers are increasingly responsible to manage vendor operations teams to ensure appropriate management and change to the infrastructure services provided to the end-user organization. Provides deep Subject Matter Expert (SME) input concerning assigned business portfolio and upcoming trends (Commerciality). Provides leadership to the Landscape Management Community. Provides oversight on assurance and compliance activities and ensures remediation. Has frequent exposure to / interaction with the highest levels of business leadership - EC and EC-1. Works independently under minimal managerial supervision. Diagnoses and solves significant, complex, and non-routine problems; translates practices from elsewhere (other markets, countries, and industry) and provides authoritative, technical recommendations which have a significant impact on business performance in the short and medium term. Actively identifies new approaches that enhance efficiency and the business impact of IT service landscapes. Represents the Company as the authority in the defined area and acts as a role model to develop experts within this area.
As a Supplier Delivery Manager supports the owner and holder of IDSO contracts with key Infrastructure Service Providers and Application Suppliers. They ensure that services provided by third parties are secure and reliable while exercising contractual clauses to ensure key KPIs (e.g. Critical Service Levels, Key Measures) are upheld. The Supplier Manager acts as the escalation point between Business IT and 3rd party provided for any deterioration in service levels. We are looking for an experienced Supplier Manager who can also define and re-engineer processes to join the team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the supplier relationships.
Your Task:
- Responsible for Supplier payments by coordinating internal and external stakeholders. Analyse payment status and generate a report for each supplier and update it to relate to Contract Holder.
- The Supplier Delivery Manager supports the owner/holder of IDSO contracts with key Infrastructure Service Providers and Application Suppliers
- Ownership of the supplier's delivery (supplier is responsible), actively monitoring Supplier performance alignment to agreed SLAs.
- Review and support the operational planning and delivery of new services in response to new service requests.
- Ensure supplier payments happen as per contractual terms
- Coordinated and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to update supplier payment status and generate reports.
- Analyze the payment status and identify challenges and pain points and get it escalated at the earliest to ensure payment on time.
- Manage the supplier's HSSE compliance and adherence to HSSE rules
- Ensure that local legal and regulatory compliance is upheld with no breaches
- Reviewing, in collaboration with Product Manager, General Manager, and suppliers, the delivery of services by analyzing functionalities, trends, SLA performance, costs, and continued alignment to the original business case and later developments.
- Be aware of systemic issues with their services, provide advice, and take accountability for sustainable resolutions.
- Effectively balance the contract with the relationship with suppliers.
- Participate and contribute to different Governance bodies.
- Ensuring mutually beneficial and responsive relationships are established & maintained with the Businesses and Suppliers by managing stakeholders' (key stakeholders often include senior-level representatives and supplier organization) concerns and expectations.
