The Role & Responsibilities
Project Planning and Coordination
- Project Assistance: Support the project manager in overseeing the project lifecycle, helping to ensure projects adhere to scope, timelines, and budgets. Assist in generating and managing documentation like the Bill of Quantities, quotations, schedules, and overseeing the coordination of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison among design teams, the client accounts team, contractors, and suppliers. Facilitate clear and effective communication to ensure project alignment and smooth operations.
- Meeting Engagement: Attend project meetings, taking detailed notes and contributing to discussions with the aim of enhancing project delivery and quality.
- Documentation Management: Manage all project documentation, including quotations, contracts, invoices and plans, to maintain accuracy and ensure accessibility.
Execution and Quality Assurance
- Timeline and Quality: Assist in monitoring project timelines and work quality, supporting efforts to meet milestones while adhering to high-quality standards and design specifications.
- Issue Resolution: Help address and resolve on-site issues, supporting the project manager in adjusting plans as necessary to overcome unforeseen challenges while ensuring continuous communication. Clarity and transparency is key.
- Compliance Assistance: Support efforts to maintain strict quality and safety standards across all project operations, aligning with internal procedures and senior management's directives.
- Availability: Maintain readiness to respond to project needs as they arise, ensuring continuous project progression and stakeholder satisfaction.
What youll need to succeed
Technology and Reporting
- Software Skills: Proficient in project management software, especially Microsoft Projects, to improve planning, tracking, and execution.
- Adaptability: Stay on top of new technologies and methodologies to support the project manager in enhancing project execution and outcomes.
- Feedback Implementation: Incorporate client and team feedback to continuously improve project management processes and outcomes.
- Performance Reporting: Utilize the latest project management software for weekly updates, providing comprehensive reports on project status, budget, timeline, and on-site conditions to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project coordination or assistant project manager role. Experience in landed residential and A&A works is advantageous.
- Ability to support the planning and management of several projects concurrently.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Projects, Asana) and Google Suite (Sheets, Calendar, etc.).
- Proficiency in understanding construction technical drawings.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, adept at interacting with stakeholders at all levels and clients when the need arises.
- Problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility in project delivery.

Salary Package:
S$ 2,000.00 - 3,000.00 (Singapore Dollar)
