Azure Data Engineer

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• >2 years experience in Design, Engineering roles for Systems analysis and infrastructure & network design in web-scale environments.
• Infrastructure & Network automation and configuration management tools
• Public cloud IaaS and PaaS deployment models and technologies.
• Highly cross-functional and able to swap and perform adjacent roles and responsibilities at short notice.
• Strong relationship building, persuasion, and collaboration skills that drives effective constructive feedback and support.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to distil difficult technical concepts into simple and actionable practices.
• Deep knowledge on Microsoft Azure Data & Storage solutions: Fabric, SQL & Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Event Hubs
• Experience on IaC and automation (Terraform, Azure ARM, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.), version control (e.g. GitHub, GitLab), CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins), containerization (e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker).

Education & Certifications:

• Masters or Bachelors degree or technical institute certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems or another related field
• Professional experience and knowledge of the IT industry

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administration Associate (AZ-104)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solution Architect Expert (AZ-305)
