What You'll do:

- Operate, monitor and support Hadoop-based Data Lake platforms;

- Provide L3 support, troubleshooting and performance tuning for Big Data components;

- Manage HDFS data integrity, replication and capacity;

- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting for platform services;

- Support the onboarding of new workloads and ensure appropriate resource allocation;

- Perform patches, upgrades and configuration changes to maintain platform stability and security;

- Manage authentication, access policies and encryption across the environment;

- Collaborate with data, infrastructure, storage, network and security teams;

- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement;

- Hybrid work model; 

Who You Are:

- 5+ years of experience in a similar Data Engineer / Big Data role;

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent;

- Strong experience with Hadoop ecosystems and Data Lake platforms;

- Strong knowledge of HDFS, Big Data services and query engines;

- Experience with platform monitoring, automation and performance tuning;

- Knowledge of security and access control in distributed environments, including Kerberos, Ranger/Sentry and TLS;

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in Big Data environments;

- English – B2/C1;

- Knowledge of Kafka, NiFi or Flume is a plus;

- ITIL knowledge and Big Data certifications are a plus;

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
