Overview:
We are looking for an RFQ Coordinator to oversee and manage a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) for seats, to work at our client company for at least 6 months (maximum 9 month).
Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
- RFQ process Management:
- Lead the request for quotation process with qualified suppliers.
- Ensure supplier responses comply with the specifications.
- Compare and analyze technical.
- Work closely with purchasing teams to negotiate the best conditions (cost, quality, deadlines, innovation).
- Technical Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between technical teams (engineering, validation, quality) and suppliers.
- Collaborate with internal technical team (Software Electronic Project Leader, Electronic/Electric and Seats Leader, purchasing, supply chain) to ensure proposed solutions are viable and meet project needs.
- Monitor the evolution of technical requirements and translate them into specifications for suppliers.
- Managing interface connector sheets for seat
- Meeting Facilitation and Supplier Follow-up:
- Organize and lead design reviews with suppliers and internal teams.
- Track response schedules and follow up with suppliers as needed.
- Identify risks and propose solutions to ensure deadlines are met.
- Decision Support and Supplier Selection:
- Present the results of quotations and analyses to technical and purchasing management.
- Assist in the decision-making process for the final supplier selection based on cost, performance, and industrial feasibility criteria.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field (ECU knowledge on seats, climate control, lighting are a plus).
- +3-5 years experience in technical project management and supplier coordination.
- Languages: Fluency in English.
- Interpersonal skills:
- Analytical and synthesis skills to compare and challenge supplier offers.
- Excellent project management skills to lead RFQs and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and leadership skills to facilitate meetings and coordinate teams.
- Mobility: Availability to travel from Portugal to France and work on-site during the duration of the mission.
