About the job Project Manager (Construction)
On behalf of our client, an Indonesias national construction companies, we are currently seeking a Project Manager to be based in Surabaya.
Job Descriptions:
- Study the contract contents, particularly the technical section (specifications, methods, schedule) and commercial section (BOQ, SOW, TOP).
- Lead the preparation & submission of RPP approval, which includes: Copy of PO/SO/Contract; Copy of Forcon Drawing; Project Organization Structure, Manpower Requirement Analysis, Work Methods; Equipment Requirements List, Schedule/S Curve, Budget Plan (RAB).
- Provide the approved RPP to the Project Controller (PC) for project control.
- Lead internal KOM (Kick-Off Meeting).
- Lead, coordinate, and control the execution of the project.
- Create & present weekly reports.
- Attend meetings with external parties (clients, subcontractors, and other relevant external parties).
- Coordinate and make decisive actions to ensure smooth project execution.
- Submit progress payments to the client according to the Terms of Payment (TOP) until BAST 1 & 2.
- Approve the progress opname submitted by subcontractors.
- Together with the PC, prepare the final project report, including: Copy of PO/SO/Contract up to the latest addendum; Copy of As-Built Drawing; Realized Project Organization Structure; Realized Manpower Schedule & Productivity Evaluation; Realized Work Methods along with obstacles and solutions; Material & Equipment Opname; S Curve RA RI; Realized Budget Plan (RAB).
Requirements:
- Minimum education: Bachelor's (S1) or Diploma (D3) in Civil Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience (preferably having worked or undergone training in the construction field).
- Possesses connections and networks in the construction industry.
- Planning: Plans activities related to assigned tasks.
- Organizing: Coordinates activities and tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Staffing: Ensures that every person involved in the task and work is appropriately assigned.
- Directing: Guides the execution of tasks and ensures smooth workflow.
- Honest, disciplined, and detail-oriented; able to work individually or in a team.
- Able to make decisions confidently and be creative in providing solutions/ideas.
- Strong negotiation skills, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking.
