We are assisting a well-known Automotive company that is looking to hire a Logistics Operations and Marketing Manager position. This role will be responsible for the entire of operations and marketing initiatives.
Job Description:
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily trucking operations, including dispatching, route planning, and fleet utilization.
- Monitor driver performance, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Ensure timely pickups, deliveries, and problem resolution in case of delays or breakdowns.
- Maintain compliance with transportation regulations and safety policies.
- Optimize costs by managing fuel consumption, vehicle efficiency, and operational workflows.
Marketing & Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and pricing strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with shippers, freight brokers, and logistics partners.
- Manage digital and offline marketing efforts, including branding, advertising, and customer outreach.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements with clients.
Performance Monitoring & Improvement:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for both operations and sales.
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements using technology and best practices.
- Provide regular reports on operational efficiency, revenue growth, and market positioning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in trucking/logistics, with both operational and marketing experience.
