Structural Engineer (Wood Manufacturing)

On behalf of our client, Hardwood Manufacturing Company that is looking to hire a Structural Engineer position with details below:

Job Description:

1. Design safe and stable structures.
2. Conduct structural calculation analyses.
3. Select suitable construction materials.
4. Ensure designed structures function properly.
5. Implement departmental strategies aligned with company goals in innovation, sustainability, and growth.
6. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in engineering and construction, particularly in mass timber.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (wood specialization).
2. At least 3 years of experience as a Structural Engineer.
3. Proficient in 2D and 3D drawing software (AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit).
4. Proficient in structural calculation software (TEKLA, SAP2000, or ETABS).
5. Knowledgeable about wood construction and materials.
6. Excellent communication and analytical skills.
7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
