Consultant Sr Lead, Actuarial

Language preference – Spanish and English proficiency is required

Job Description:

• A minimum of 7+ years working in the Life and/or General Insurance actuarial consulting market with a key focus on working with clients using the Prophet actuarial modelling solution

• A strong background in the insurance industry's regulatory and reporting frameworks including IFRS17 and Solvency II

• A strong background in Prophet modelling system implementations:
• Involvement in key business projects using Prophet
• Implementations with Prophet's Liability and ALS libraries
• Familiar with the Data Conversion System (DCS) and Prophet Excel Reporting
• Familiar with potential performance bottlenecks and solutions when using Prophet
• Experience of the business implications and impact on Prophet modelling in relation to Valuation methods, Pricing, Asset / Liability Modelling, Stochastic Modelling and Analysis of Change

• A relevant Actuarial qualification/certification

• Skilled at stakeholder management and communicating effectively with clients

• Knowledge of financial services industry and the current regulatory regimes for GI insurers (e.g. IFRS17)

• Experience working on technology implementation projects, either in-house or in a vendor/consultancy environment

Alternate products in insurance risk management are Moody's AXIS, Milliman Integrate, or WTW RiskAgility. (If candidates don't have experience with Prophet)

The candidate needs to have technical project implementation experience along with Acturial skills.
