Job Title: Litigation Solicitor

Location: Bromley, England

Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent

With a commitment to excellence, we aim to make a profitable contribution to our department and further the development of our business. Our current caseload is diverse, covering property & land disputes, landlord & tenant issues, debt recovery, contentious probate, employment law, and contractual and consumer disputes.

Main Responsibilities:

- Provide clients with accurate, appropriate, and up-to-date legal advice

- Establish and maintain excellent client relationships

- Undertake all related administrative tasks in accordance with company procedures

- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

- Achieve billing and time recording targets

- Maintain financial control of own ledgers

- Deal swiftly with client complaints

- Participate in marketing and networking activities

- Ensure the confidentiality of firm and client documentation and information

- Adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures

- Contribute positively to departmental and firm-wide activities

- Undertake relevant training as required

- Comply with the Solicitors Regulation Authority Code of Conduct at all times

Key Requirements:

Qualifications:

- Qualified and eligible to practice as a solicitor in England

- 2+ years of post qualification experience in a similar field

- Experience of delivering excellent customer care in a legal environment

- Expert, up-to-date knowledge of litigation processes, procedures, and legislation

- Awareness of marketplace and current developments, opportunities, and threats

Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to quickly build strong, productive relationships with clients and colleagues

- Ability to work independently and under pressure

- Good problem-solving ability and time management skills

- Organised, methodical, and IT literate, including Microsoft Office Applications

- Ability to represent the firm professionally at networking and other events

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Conscientious with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail

- Flexible attitude to work hours and requirements
