Job Title: Mid-Level Project Manager Non-Tech

Location: Remote

Duration/Start Date: 10/7/2024

Salary Range: $39.50 - $43.00 hourly

Candidates with previous experience working at Microsoft Corporation, either as a full-time employee (FTE) or contractor, are strongly preferred.


Role Summary:

This role is a key part of a multifaceted project aimed at enhancing rural healthcare resilience through technology and security improvements, with responsibilities including:
Part 1: Offering free security assessments and training for rural hospitals, plus access to Microsoft products and support.
Part 2: Conducting in-depth assessments and remediation for a select group of hospitals, with the goal of creating a case study by mid-year.
Part 3: Overseeing an AI Innovation Lab for rural hospitals, managed in partnership with a consulting firm.


Job Responsibilities:

o Manage ongoing documentation, including the maintenance of a current project tracker for status of all rural hospital customers
o Provide customer support to hospital customers and program partners to ensure a smooth customer experience by managing the program inbox, supporting follow-ups with cybersecurity assessment and licensing partners, sending customer surveys and providing reports on findings, and other job duties as necessary
o Provide operational support to program team including supporting industry engagement events with materials, swag, and logistics coordination
o Provide communications support for program messaging to include in presentations, industry engagement events, customer emails and follow-ups, Microsoft leadership reporting, and website and program materials.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience:

1. Minimum 3+ years experience with Project Management. To include skills in various aspects of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
2. Minimum 3+ years experience with Event Management. To include a comprehensive understanding of the entire event lifecycle, from initial concept development and budgeting to venue selection, vendor management, logistics coordination, marketing promotion, and post-event evaluation.
3. Minimum 3+ years experience with Communication. To include skills in both verbal and written communication across various mediums such as emails, presentations, reports, meetings, and interpersonal interactions. They excel in conveying complex ideas clearly and concisely to different audiences, including colleagues, clients, stakeholders, and executives.


Requirements/Qualifications:

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time.
Strong knowledge of operational processes and quality control
Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Visio etc.
3-5 years experience required
