**Salary Range: $110,000 - 150,000+ (base salary)

(NOT remote, must be on site)

Responsibilities:

Overseeing and managing the mechanical engineering team and projects, you would be managing a range of engineering responsibilities. Including but not limited to, encompassing project management, design tasks, business development initiatives, and other supportive activities to foster growth.

  • Effectively oversee, supervise, coordinate, and ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of numerous projects.
  • Utilize expertise to navigate complex projects and resolve technical obstacles.
  • Foster the expansion and nurturing of client relationships
  • Ensure thorough communication with key stakeholders
  • Actively pursue opportunities to secure repeat or new business from clients.
  • Take the lead in mentoring and nurturing the professional growth of mechanical engineering team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • REQUIRED: Professional Engineering licensure in New York State or ability to obtain a license in New York within three (3) months
  • 10-15+ years of experience in engineering and project management within the U.S.
  • Familiar with and proficient at understanding and navigating the various building codes and industry standards associated with MEP design
  • Technical knowledge of HVAC system design including load calculations, hydronic and steam systems, industrial and laboratory ventilation, building automation and control systems and specs
  • Plumbing systems, compressed air, specialty gasses, RO/DI water and laboratory piping systems
  • NFPA-13 Sprinkler System Design as well as standpipes, fire pumps and other common fire protection systems serving facilities
  • Familiarity with commercial, institutional, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing facilities for private, government, municipal, industrial and institutional clients
  • Experience with building and maintaining client relationships; as well as experience with business development activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Able to travel to Client sites and other Company offices
