**Location: Seattle

Expected annual salary of $87,000 - $100,000.

Job Description:

Our client is in search of a seasoned Civil Senior Designer with over eight years of experience in civil engineering and land development, encompassing expertise in site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and site utility design, to become a valued member of our expanding Seattle team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to collaboration within a multidisciplinary engineering environment and possess a comprehensive skill set spanning from preliminary design to construction phases.

Qualifications:

  • Technical or Associate degree in civil engineering, civil design, or drafting/CAD field.
  • 8+ of experience in drafting and design for civil site improvements.
  • Comprehensive understanding of industry standards and practices, covering planning, permitting, design, and construction phases.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, including expertise in Sheet Set Manager, civil site layout, Civil 3D surface models, corridors, pipe networks, and profiles.
  • Familiarity with GIS terminology and the ability to import GIS data.
  • Technical proficiency in preparing public improvement and grading plans, site grading, and earthwork calculations is preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with a multi-discipline design team.
  • Willingness to collaborate with counterparts in other offices to manage workload effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Excellent time management skills.
