Bilingual Japanese IT Infrastructure Support Engineer

Summary:
We're seeking a skilled IT professional to provide implementation, support, and maintenance for network and infrastructure environments. This role involves working with various technologies and requires strong problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Microsoft core business applications and virtualization environments (Citrix, Microsoft, VMware)
• Implement and support Microsoft Server technologies
• Monitor and resolve issues for WAN/LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security products
• Manage support tickets and document resolutions professionally
• Interface with clients and vendors to implement projects and resolve technical issues
• Collaborate with team members to achieve goals and improve services

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to clients
• Fluency in Japanese (reading, writing, conversation)
• Experience with networking hardware (switches, routers, firewalls) preferred
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, CCA) desired
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN operations and protocols
• Adaptability and quick learning ability
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail

• Frequent travel within Southern California required
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle needed
• Flexible work schedule to support 24/7 operations
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and heavier items with assistance
• Willingness to perform duties outside normal responsibilities as needed
