Oversee cash management, banking activities, cash flow forecasting, progress draws, holdbacks, and intercompany transactions.
Prepare and submit all required statutory filings, including GST, payroll remittances, WCB, and other government reporting requirements.
Process and administer end-to-end payroll for both hourly and salaried employees while ensuring legislative compliance.
Maintain accurate job costing and Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting, including percentage-of-completion accounting, cost-to-complete analysis, and project profitability reporting.
Partner with operational leadership to review project performance, identify financial risks, monitor margins, and support informed business decisions.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, project estimating, and financial planning initiatives.
Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Administrator while establishing effective accounting procedures and internal controls.
Continuously evaluate and improve accounting systems, reporting processes, and operational efficiencies.

Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience with responsibility for the full accounting cycle.
Previous experience within the construction, homebuilding, trades, or project-based industries is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience with Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting, job costing, percentage-of-completion accounting, and project financial management.
Hands-on payroll experience supporting both hourly field employees and salaried staff.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop others.
