Growth Marketing Manager
Job Description:
Lotus Group is proud to partner with our innovative, forward-thinking and growth-minded niche insurance partner based in Edmonton in the search for a Growth Marketing Manager to support lead generation, client acquisition and expansion across Western Canada.
With a clear and ambitious goal to double the number of clients they serve, this role will play a significant part in achieving that growth. Protecting the health and wealth of their clients is at the heart of what they do and the Growth Marketing Manager will be a driving force in bringing that purpose to life, connecting more professionals, candidates and firms with the products and services designed specifically for them.
This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role for someone who wants to own the full funnel rather than a single channel. You will set acquisition strategy, execute campaigns, manage the CRM, and report on results, with the autonomy of a startup growth lead and the credibility of a 50-year-old institution behind you.
Core Values
Let's Go - We are motivated to take action today.
Raise the Bar – We take the initiative to improve everything we do.
Anything is Possible - We approach obstacles with an open mind.
We are Good People - We make a positive impact every day.
Role Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Acquisition
- Own qualified lead generation across paid, organic, partner, and campaign-based channels including setting paid strategy and targets across Google, Meta, and LinkedIn and directing agency execution to grow the pipeline of clients across BC, AB, SK, and MB
Digital Conversion & Customer Journey
- Optimize the website, landing pages, forms, and CTAs using a structured, test-driven CRO approach — identifying and removing friction via analytics, heatmaps, and user feedback
CRM & Lifecycle Marketing
- Use ActiveCampaign to build lifecycle campaigns, segmentation, automation, nurturing that move prospects toward quotes, applications, and sales
- Improve lead capture, qualification, routing, follow-up, and database engagement
Growth Campaigns & Experimentation
- Build and execute integrated campaigns across paid media, email, content, webinars, social, and partnerships
- Maintain a continuous pipeline of growth experiments, testing audiences, channels, messaging, and offers
Content & Brand Voice
- Write and edit high-converting copy across ads, landing pages, and email sequences that speaks credibly to the client base
- Partner with internal subject-matter experts to turn insurance and benefits expertise into content that ranks and converts
Marketing Analytics & Performance
- Own marketing measurement and reporting from source through lead, quote, application, and sale establishing KPIs, attribution, dashboards, and UTM/tagging governance
- Use data to optimize channel investment, CPL, conversion rate, CPA, and overall marketing ROI
Role Requirements
- 5+ years of experience generating leads that turn into revenue, not just impressions or clicks
- Comfortable running structured experiments - testing a hypothesis, reading the results, and adjusting quickly based on what you learn
- Hands-on experience with a marketing automation or CRM platform; ActiveCampaign experience is an asset
- Strong knowledge of paid acquisition channels (Google, Meta, LinkedIn) and web analytics (GA4 or similar)
- Experience coordinating with external partners - briefing strategy, evaluating performance, and holding an external partner accountable to targets
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Strong writing skills across formats: ads, landing pages, and email sequences
- Ability to manage several campaigns and priorities independently
- Comfort managing a budget and justifying spend with data, not just activity
- Strong Excel or equivalent data skills - comfortable building your own reporting
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or a membership-based organization is an asset, but not required
- Use of AI related platforms including Claude and ChatGPT considered an asset
Compensation
A comprehensive compensation plan will accompany the successful candidate including a comprehensive benefit plan. Starting salary range is based on experience and qualifications.
We would like to thank all interested applicants. Please note that only those applicants who meet the qualifications and requirements will be contacted.
