Client Manager
Job Description:
Lotus Group has partnered with our valued client, one of the largest 3PL Logistics, Warehousing, and Storage Solution service providers in Western Canada. They are seeking to add a Client Manager to join their established team in Edmonton, AB. The Client Manager will possess an excellent customer service, client-first approach, with a strong ability to analyze data, find customer solutions and upsell the current business needs.
The ideal candidate will be a trusted partner, service-promoting professional who ensures the delivery of operational and customer service needs.
The successful candidate will be accountable for managing key client accounts and relationships from the point of client onboarding through to ongoing retention. They will foster relationships and manage key client requests to Operations and Customer Service teams, taking responsibility for coordinating and communicating effective responses to clients.
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Client Manager will be the point of contact and responsible for overseeing the seamless and satisfying experience for key client accounts including, but not limited to:
Responsibilities:
Manages new and existing key client relationships, proactively and effectively communicating with a range of client contacts. Ensures seamless onboarding of new clients.
Integrates with operational leaders to proactively support all new business development efforts, including specific Requests For Proposals from potential clients and partners.
Seek opportunities to upsell services through expanded client offerings. This includes: transportation, inventory cycle counting, and value add repacking.
Ensures upselling of process driven inventory management and that execution is completed in a timely manner to support client needs and attainment of KPI targets.
Act as the business lead to ensure clients are informed of Information Systems transitions, providing certainty client needs are addressed through system functionality; and where necessary gaps are discussed, acknowledged and appropriately resolved.
Provides excellent communication and client based support for implementation by acting as a conduit to help resolve client facing issues associated with business unit implementations.
Develop client based KPI reporting that is showcased to clients and the organizations key stakeholders.
Conducts monthly and quarterly business reviews to highlight performance and results with key clients, including a suite of key performance indicators.
Develops and maintains strong harmonious relationships with functional leaders to promote solution delivery for client based initiatives.
Partner closely with functional leaders to ensure system-based efficiency and automation opportunities are proactively offered and drive solution development, to increase client service and satisfaction.
Works with functional leaders to collaboratively develop actions to address gaps in KPI results and to improve the overall experience for key clients.
Collaborates with functional leaders to ensure appropriate quality control measures are in place to deliver accuracy and integrity of client products.
Travel to client locations as required.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience developing Operating and Customer Service teams, as well as, driving improvement of results within 3PL Logistics and Warehousing.
Technically strong with Warehouse and Distribution Operations.
Supply Chain Certification preferred.
Dynamic and engaging leadership style that fosters strong working relationships based on credibility and open communication.
Focused on delivering exceptional client service at all levels.
Strong ability to analyze and interpret data and make decisions based on the results.
Strong computer and software skills; inclusive of MS Office and CRM software.
Strong Business and Financial Acumen mindset.
Advanced Negotiation skills.
A valid Driver's License and Clean Abstract.
