Role Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed store revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and implement effective sales initiatives.
- Foster a culture of excellent customer service by ensuring the team consistently delivers a superior shopping experience.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment and merchandising, to optimize product availability and presentation.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns that drive foot traffic and sales.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure timely resolution to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Role Requirements
- Proven experience as a Retail Sales Lead or in a similar leadership role within the retail industry.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales and achieving revenue targets in a competitive retail environment.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Analytical ability to interpret sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in using retail management systems and sales tracking software.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a retail setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelors degree in business, retail management, or a related field is preferred.
