Job Description:

Our client, a leading developer of data center infrastructure, is seeking a **self-starting energy professional** to develop reliable and cost-effective infrastructure for their growing portfolio of data center locations. As the **Energy Development Lead**, you'll support the delivery of power infrastructure solutions by collaborating with leading utility partners and third-party developers to negotiate and execute agreements for distributed energy projects. These projects will meet capacity, reliability, and sustainability objectives while supporting hyperscale customers with bespoke commercial energy structures and associated offtake agreements.

In this role, you will focus on interconnecting distributed, clean energy resources at project sites to support data center load service across the project pipeline.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing multiple large-scale energy projects, including clean energy solutions such as solar (PV) and battery energy storage, a strong business development background, and a passion for renewable energy and sustainability. Internally, you will collaborate with site origination, development, finance, and legal teams to drive successful project energization. To succeed, you'll need to understand the technical nature of this work, effectively negotiate and execute energy development and project agreements, deliver strategies in constrained and ambiguous environments, and tactfully escalate and report to organizational leaders and partners.
