They seek an experienced and innovative Senior Design Engineering Manager, and a logistics and warehouse solutions leader. The candidate will be responsible for designing and optimising cutting-edge Cargo and Warehouse Management Systems (CWMS), ensuring seamless concept, design, and integration of automation, software, and hardware technologies to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive designs and applications for Cargo and Warehouse Management Systems, incorporating automated handling equipment, software interfaces, and operational workflows.
- Create system layouts, specifications, and technical documentation to support project execution.
- Collaborate with clients to customize solutions tailored to their specific operational requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and assess technical requirements for CWMS projects.
- Develop and propose innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and throughput.
- Partner with sales and project teams during the bidding and proposal stages to present technical solutions and address customer inquiries.
- Provide technical support during project implementation, ensuring alignment with design specifications and operational goals.
- Support system testing, debugging, and integration efforts to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to resolve technical challenges during deployment.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations of proposed systems to internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Provide technical training and documentation to clients and internal teams post-implementation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 10 – 15 years of experience in designing and developing Cargo and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
- Experience in international logistics projects or a multicultural working environment.
- Certification in logistics or warehouse automation systems.
- Proven expertise in automation technologies, material handling systems, and warehouse layout optimization.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD software for system design.
- Proficiency in warehouse and logistics software, including WMS, SCADA, or PLC programming.
- Familiarity with international standards and regulations for cargo and warehouse operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and with clients.
