Our Tier 1 client is a global leader in digital logistics solutions. They seek an experienced Pricing & Procurement Director to lead their Southeast Asia Pricing & Procurement Operations. This role is pivotal in driving the company's strategic pricing initiatives and enhancing procurement processes to achieve operational excellence and competitive advantage in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and oversee key performance indicators for pricing and procurement operations to ensure targets are met and aligned with business objectives.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with logistics service providers, ensuring optimal performance and service delivery.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance ocean and air sales performance, implementing cost-saving measures to strengthen the competitiveness of procurement and expand business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and partners to enhance service offerings and operational efficiency.
  • Negotiate pricing and space allocations with global shipping carriers, airlines, and Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers (NVOCC).
  • Track and manage the competitive pricing process with shipping carriers and airlines, ensuring alignment with market trends.
  • Oversee the bidding process, including developing pricing strategies and evaluating bids to maximize profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Logistics, Trading, or a related field.
  • 10+ years Experience in a Global Logistics Company/3PL company.
  • At least 5 years of team leadership experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at an advanced level.
  • Experience with large/long-term contracts and global account management.
  • Background in a regional role within Southeast Asia.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is preferred.
