Our client is a leading global Chemical Logistics Solutions provider. They seek an experienced Site Manager who is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing processes to achieve operational excellence in their Tier 1 Chemical Plant in Jubail, KSA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the chemical plant to ensure efficient and smooth functioning.
  • Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and safety.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Implement and enforce safety training programs for all staff and contractors.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of professionals.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and maintenance teams to ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all site-related matters and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on site performance and progress to senior management.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in site management within the chemical or logistics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical plant operations, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in plant management and logistics.
