Our client is a Tier 1 International Integrated Logistics provider renowned for its innovation in the logistics sector. They seek a Project Logistics Consultant with deep experience working on the Energy design and Supply Chains and Logistics projects - required for a GCC-based feasibility study.
Key Experience Required:
- Project Logistics & Heavy Lift Experience for out-of-gauge (OOG), breakbulk, and heavy lift transportation for green hydrogen-related infrastructure and product movement.
- Preferably Green Hydrogen Industry Experience – Prior experience in designing and implementing logistics and supply chain solutions specific to green hydrogen, including production feedstock logistics and end-customer distribution.
- Shipping & Freight Management – Experience in planning and executing large-scale hydrogen-related shipping, including cryogenic transportation and specialized carriers.
- Hydrogen Storage & Transportation Methods – Experience working with hydrogen carriers such as liquefied hydrogen (LH2), compressed hydrogen, ammonia, and other alternative storage solutions.
Top Skills Required:
- Supply Chain Network Design & Optimization of both inbound materials (to production sites) and outbound green hydrogen distribution.
- Strong understanding of regional and international regulations governing hydrogen transport, including safety, environmental, and customs compliance. (Oman/GCC & Global)
- Expert knowledge handling, classification, and movement of hazardous materials, ensuring adherence to stringent safety and operational protocols.
- Multimodal Transport Planning of inland transport (road, rail, barge), maritime shipping (LNG carriers, liquid/gaseous hydrogen transport), and intermodal strategies.
- Technical Knowledge of Green Hydrogen and understanding of hydrogen liquefaction, compression, and ammonia-based transport solutions, including emerging technologies in hydrogen logistics.
- Maritime & Inland Transport Infrastructure – Expertise in developing port, road, and rail solutions tailored for green hydrogen movement.
