Our client is a leading industrial services provider specialising in engineered equipment and aftersales support across the oil & gas, petrochemical, and power sectors. With a well-established presence in the GCC, the company partners with global OEMs to deliver tailored solutions for mission-critical assets, including compressors, pumps, and valves.

They seek a seasoned Manager - Commercial Engineering Services to lead the spares and services function for key Tier 1 regional and global accounts. This pivotal role combines technical acumen with commercial leadership to ensure operational excellence, timely execution of shutdowns, and customer retention in a highly dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with end-users, OEMs, and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct technical meetings and site visits to understand evolving customer needs
  • Liaise with clients to finalise purchase orders and resolve payment terms
  • Provide full coordination for supplier/principal visits and end-user interactions

Aftermarket Delivery & Execution

  • Manage daily spares support for rotating equipment across major petrochemical accounts
  • Ensure timely fulfilment of Shutdown and Turnaround orders in line with TA schedules
  • Track CRM data, forecasts, and POs to drive delivery accuracy and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate with OEMs to secure smooth shipment, documentation, and timely delivery

Commercial Growth & Market Development

  • Monitor market trends to identify new business opportunities and supplier partnerships
  • Drive enquiry generation through close follow-up with internal sales teams
  • Support condition monitoring and reliability programmes at end-user sites

🔹 Qualifications & Experience

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in spares, services, or commercial engineering roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent technical background)
  • Industry exposure to oil & gas, petrochemical, or power sectors in the GCC region
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing shutdowns and turnaround logistics
  • Strong understanding of rotating equipment: compressors, valves, and pumps
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales reporting tools
  • Qualified in Oil & Gas sector regulations and practices
