Data Engineer (Mid-Level) 

Base salary in the range of $110,000 to $160,000 plus equity. Minimum Experience Required: 2+ years of professional experience in data engineering. Work Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. We cannot sponsor work visas at this time. Location: 100% Remote.

The Opportunity: We are seeking a Mid-Level Data Engineer to join our team and help us build and scale our data infrastructure. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our data pipelines, enabling us to make data-driven decisions and build intelligent products. What You'll Do:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines.

  • Develop and optimize ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.

  • Work with large datasets and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).

  • Implement data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and analytics.

  • Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and testing processes.

  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering technologies and trends.

  • Contribute to the development of our data architecture and best practices.

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in data engineering.

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

  • Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

  • Experience with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Scala).

  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.

  • Solid understanding of data modeling and database design principles.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).

  • Experience with machine learning pipelines.

  • Contributions to open-source projects.
