About the job Enterprise Account Executive

AS AN ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE YOU WILL:

  • Achieve sales quotas for allocated accounts and territory on a quarterly and annual basis by developing a sales strategy for the territory with a target prospect list, and a regional sales plan.
  • Develop plans with the marketing team to drive revenue growth.
  • Be the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future IT roadmap to drive growth.
  • Prospect qualify and develop new sales opportunities
  • Arrange and conduct Executive discussions and positioning meetings.
  • Follow sales process and opportunity closure.
  • Ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue.
  • Have a solution-based approach to selling, experience managing a complex sales process, and possess excellent presentation and listening skills.

THE IDEAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE WILL HAVE:

  • Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science Degree.
  • 10+ years of field sales experience with an emphasis on data and cloud technology.
  • 5+ years experience focused on hunting/generating new business within tier 1 accounts.
  • Proven ability to independently manage and build client relationships.
  • Experience hitting quota of $1M+ per year with an emphasis on weekly face to face meetings.
  • New business sales focus while protecting renewals.
  • Track record of success driving activity, new pipeline and quota achievement.
  • Experience distilling customer requirements and aligning to appropriate solutions.
  • Proactive, self-motivated individual with high energy and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable exec-level relationship management skills.
  • Ability to understand the big picture and the business drivers for IT.
  • Industry-specific experience (i.e. Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Manufacturing, etc.)
  • Experience with MEDPIC framework and use in qualifying and managing active opportunities.
  • Experience selling software and/or cloud based applications to the Enterprise.
