Job Summary:

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of heavy equipment and machinery. This includes but is not limited to excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders. You will work closely with our team of mechanics and technicians to ensure that our equipment is in excellent working condition and meets safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and machinery

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

- Conduct inspections and identify potential problems

- Order and replace parts as needed

- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs

- Communicate with team members and management regarding equipment status and repairs

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic

- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment

- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Certification or training in heavy equipment maintenance is a plus
